our right hand is all sticky and we are also having drool issues

there were a lot of friends & favorites at the Renegade Craft Fair the other weekend.  teresa & i had so much fun walking around visiting with everyone.  we met up with the dear miss erin fae & ran around everywhere until we were exhausted, then went in search of food.  i took some random photos, mostly of new-to-me-things that just caught my eye for one reason or another & here are the first three in the order i took them:

this might be the most amazing table i saw at the fair -  definitely the most amazing that i hadn't seen before.  they had Moustache Envy moustaches (dude, i love moustaches!) and beautiful wooden rings & probably sold out of everything on the first day.

more moustaches!  is it possible they're actually becoming hip?  anyway, these folks had wicked cute clothes & if i hadn't convinced Erin to buy this dress i would have had to get it for myself.  they were super nice, too.

Ericaweinercicada
erica weiner jewelry

if only i still wore regular earrings in my ears, i would so have bought these.  i adore cicadas (sorry tara!) and she had many other cool things like necklaces with tiny vertebrae or a single antique key strung on a gold chain...

Tincappucapp
i left providence early on friday to spend the afternoon with the lovely miss erin fae.  we met downtown for tiny cappuccinos & tiny desserts, sat outdoors glaring at the smokers, pretended to eat little dogs & were just all around silly!  erin introduced me to UniQlo, a sort of japanese H&M, and i was completely overwhelmed by the well-lit displays of stylish clothing.  i can't wait to go back again because i really should have bought that pink umbrella...
Papereater Eande
i was down in nyc to visit my sister & to shop at Renegade, but more on that later...

this is Eternal so there's no such thing as an objective, just toodle around and play!

Smorescupcake

smores cupcake from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World!  i think this might be the best cupcake yet - graham cracker & cinnamon cake with fluffy buttercream frosting, drizzled with chocolate ganach & sprinkled with graham cracker crumbs.  next time i make these (because i'm making them again very soon!) i'm going to hide a layer of chocolate under the frosting because to be a truly smores cupcake it needs more...

it's hard enough to remember my opinions without remembering my reasons for them

i have reclaimed my home.   it happened so suddenly: the roommate moved, i cleaned, invited friends over & it's all mine again.  it's so wonderful to come home from work to nothing.  just me, peace & quiet...  and maybe a little katamari damacy.  i love it here.

two little kids with a flow you ain't never heard

hmm, this could very easily become another cupcake-blog...

Veganglutenfreecupcake

you are ogling a vegan, gluten-free vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting.  one of my coworkers finished school & got her MLS so we had a little surprise party for her - it was an all gluten-free affair because she can't eat wheat.  i spotted a couple recipes in the Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World cookbook & had to try one.  they smelled very much like corn muffins when i took them out of the oven & i had to replace the almond ingredients, but everyone agreed they tasted pretty damn good.  and, of course, the frosting was delicious - you really can't go wrong with cocoa & sugar.
