and the mome raths outgrabe
here is my 'mome rath' for this month of softies, hand-sewn out of real wool felt & with quite an attitude. the feisty green pig thing is about 4.5" tall plus ears, has a curly swine tail & is so sad because it's lost it's way. don't you want to have a little mome rath of your own? humpty dumpty describes the sound it makes as "something between bellowing and whistling, with a kind of sneeze in the middle: however, you'll hear it done, maybe - down in the wood yonder - and, when you've once heard it, you'll be quite content."
i fixed the links to the close-ups of the tiny quilt squares, i wasted a lot of time trying to figure out why they didn't work, but finally just deleted them & started over!

Wow! This guy is absolutely fabulous! So much life. I love his tail and also your tiny stitches.

Oh my! Your creatures are so amazing! I think you're the only person I've ever heard refer to Svankmeyer - I love those animations. Thanks for your inspiring work!

Hello! Where did you find that name: mome rath?
I am very interested to know it. Isn't it in Alice in Wonderland? thanks

Your mome rath and slithy tove are fantastic! Love their shapes, just as I pictured them in mind's eye when reading the Jabberwocky.

Teresa@sewingstars.com told me to get in touch with you about possibly purchasing a mome rath or two. Do you sell them? They're absolutely adorable, exactly as described in the poem!
My friend might also be interested in a slithy tove. Would you happen to have those as well, or be able/willing to make one?
Thank you so much!
